Welcome to our Haven.....

 It has been a busy time at Kitz n Thingz with lots of new fabric arriving for you to choose from. We are gearing ourselves up for The Remarkable Symposium and deciding what lovely morsels we will have on our merchant stand there. New additions this week to our fabric ranges is the French General collection - La Petite Ecole for Moda. This has already sold well with a couple of designs gone so if you love French General fabric this is a must see (and feel).

We now stock quite a few embroidery supplies and have the linen and cotton fabrics on the bolt for you stitchers to buy meterage if required. We have Permin and Zweighart fabric plus lots of cross stitch kits which some are featured on the website. We also have DMC, Cosmos Seasons and Cottage Garden Hand dyed threads. We have set up a designated area for embroidery so come and visit.

The Inspiration magazine has been popular in the past and is now availabel to order through us. We have issue 68 and 69 instore now and if you would like to have an ongoing order with us send us and email on kitznthingz@xtra.co.nz or phone and talk to one of the girls and they will look after you. The magazine is georgeous and is full of embroidery projects. It is a quaterly publication and costs $19.90 each. We can post anywhere and will just add this cost to the magazine. 

Merry Christmas

 The year has flown by and Christmas is upon us. Everyone will be giving their Christmas project the finishing touches to give as pressies or to hang pride of place in their homes. We have had a fantastic year at Kitz n Thingz with a very busy 2011 already planned. To give everyone a bit of a rest we will be closing over the Christmas/ New Year period as follows:

24th December 2010 - 4th January 2011 Closed

5th January - 10am - 3.00pm

6th January - 10am - 3.00pm

7th January- 10am - 3.00pm

8th January - 10am - 3.00pm

10th January  onwards- Normal Trading hours resume  Mon - Fri 10.00am - 5.00pm, Sat 10.00am - 4.00pm

We would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable festive season and look forward to catching up with you in 2011. There are some gorgeous BOM planned which we will get on the Website in January 2011 plus we have some visiting designers from Australia coming throughout the year. Details of the classes for this will be put on the website when they are finalised so watch this space. I will be away from the shop from 13 December until end January as I am getting a new knee joint for Christmas but the girls will look after all our customers with their usual friendly helpful service.

Welcome to our Updated Web Site

 We have been doing some work on the site and have deleted all old stock and are now in the process of adding new stock daily. We have added a new range by 3 Sisters for Moda called 'Luna Notte'. This is just gorgeous and is worth a look. Keep checking back as we add new stock and build on the website stock. Look out for us on Facebook  in the beginning of November too.

Welcome to our Haven.....

Our new shop opened on the 18th May 2009 and we have also extended our opening hours for our customers convenience. We are just loving our new space and am enjoying all our new nooks and crannies we have been able to create. It really is a pleasure to come to work each day.
